Why Lauren Collins Didn’t Participate in New ‘Degrassi’ Documentary | E! News

They were becoming real teen icons. We love the grassy. I’m nervous, man. Look at all these people. There’s the fans waiting at the hotel. It’s like, wait, reality check. What? you know, I I just kind of felt like I have I’m so proud of my time on the show and I feel so grateful for it, but I also feel like, you know, I’ve been talking about it for 25 years and I’m happy to do it on my own terms. It just didn’t feel like the right the right uh move for me at the time, but I’ve heard it’s great and I’m I’m excited to see it. You know, Adamo is going to be one of my lifelong friends. Like, we have just been through so much together. He’s always going to be uh a really important part of my life. We live together after the show um for a little while. Um, but you know, for the most part, like we’re all bonded for life and we always, you know, whether you see each other at an event or you bump into someone, it’s that it’s that thing where you see someone and you just have this mutual shared experience that there are only so many of us on this earth, you know, share together, right? So, we’re bonded for life, all of us. and I have very warm fond feelings uh for you know my original core cast coming back together to do the video was a really nice way to commemorate that you know and that sort of and that’s another reason why you know the documentary whatever like that really felt like a little closure that we all needed it wasn’t it wasn’t stress it was it was fun it was like getting together to just like have a party. He had to be one of our first kisses for sure. Damn, I never thought about it like that. I did. I watched the trailer so I did see that and I was like, I don’t know if I knew that. I mean, I guess it’s safe to assume because we were all so young when that happened. But you know what’s funny? Was not one of mine because you know who was one of mine? Daniel Clark who played Shawn because we worked together on another show and that is where I had my first kiss on camera with Danny. So yeah, I might have been his first kiss, but he wasn’t mine. Sorry. [Music]

    1. I get it from her she just over talking about this show she has done other shows other than degrassi. Did a movie with Ashley tussle too. She had good experience in the show I feel like this documentary might be cash grab they already had one. lol and saying Drake wasn’t her first kiss he was maybe she liked Daniel more. lol

    2. Honestly, I respect her decision. She's Paige Michalchuk, not just a Degrassi alum—she's a working actor with new projects. She shouldn't be obligated to look backward for what might feel like a cash-grab documentary.
