Is Stephanie Meyer planning to release more books in the Twilight series? During an interview with Good Morning America, published September 17th, the famous author of the vampire romance novels, reveals the story is far from over for Bella and Edward. What do you think Edward and Bella would be doing today? For me, Bella and Edward are frozen where Breaking Dawn ended. I have other stories outlined that I don’t know if we’ll ever get to. I’ll have somebody, you know, disseminate them a after my death if I my outlines um if I never get around to it. But for me, the stories go on. So, while Twiards may have to wait a while until they can return to Forks, Stephanie is focusing on celebrating the upcoming 20th anniversary of Twilight’s book release. Reflecting on the success of the novel released in October 2005 that launched a film empire and catapulted Kristen Stewart, Robert Patson, and Taylor Lner into stardom. What’s it like 20 years later and your fans are just as into it? I don’t even know how to process that. I wasn’t expecting fans when I started this to be back here and still have people care. I mean, it’s really, really flattering. Uh, but I never expect that to last. It’s bizarre to me that 20 years later, I’m back here talking to you. [Music]
