I cannot even begin to describe how little I agreed with Charlie Kirk about anything, but I’m starting to think that he had a better hold on the concept of freedom of speech than his compatriots. Mostly because he wanted to say terrible, racist, misogynistic, transphobic, pro-gun, pro-Israel things without consequence, but but still.

They love being on South Park until they become the punchline.

because this isn’t about charlie. jimmy kimmel was right, they’re going to use his death for advancing their own agenda.

Keep it down then. It’s a setup.

Did he not understand he was the subject of mockery

Not a fan or follower of Kirk, obviously. But I’m very curious what he would think of all the censorship being done in his name. Like, isn’t this type of stuff precisely what he was against?

My god can the media just move on from that gummy mouthed bobble headed loser. There’s absolutely no reason for there to be so much focus on him still.

I can’t imagine them cancelling South Park the way they cancelled Kimmel or Colbert. Feel how you feel about SP, but it is a culturally and historically significant icon of American pop culture. Also the fanbase for the show is not partisan the way Kimmels and Colberts audiences were. In fact I think they’re probably the one show that could get away with continuing to say what they want without the risk of cancellation. I would honestly love to see them try because I think the consequences would be enormous for them and it would hit them back in a big way.

jimmy was about mocking maga and trump, not about anything he said about Charlie Kirk.

Ask your friend in the White house. They said that because their base enjoys south park and being responsible for it censorship would be a bad look.

I really thought the media cycle would’ve moved on by now
