Prince William and Kate Middleton gave royal watchers a rare glimpse of PDA. The candid snap shared to Instagram stories showed the Prince and Princess of Wales sweetly holding hands in a behind-the-scenes moment after a lavish state banquet at Windsor Castle. For the occasion, Kate stunned in a fulllength hand embroidered gold chantel lace evening coat layered over a silk crepe gown by Philippa Lepley. She accessorized with the lover’s knot tiara, a favorite of Princess Diana, and earrings once worn by the late Queen Elizabeth II. William, meanwhile, looked sharp in his military honors. The banquet itself hosted President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump. Melania made a statement in a bright yellow off-the-shoulder Karolina Herrera gown with a purple belt, while Queen Camila opted for a bold blue dress. Earlier in the day, the Trumps joined William and Kate for a garden walkabout where the princess wore a maroon Amelia Wixstead coat dress, coordinating in jewel tones with Melania’s Dior look. On Instagram, the royal couple reflected on the visit, calling it a day to remember in Windsor. President Trump also took a moment during his speech to compliment Kate directly, praising her as radiant, healthy, and beautiful.
