Donald Trump has landed in the UK and met up with the royal family – with one lip reader claiming he made a seemingly inappropriate comment to the Prince and Princess of Wales.
As Trump departed his helicopter at the Windsor estate, he was met by Kate Middleton and Prince William, who could both be seen beaming. His arrival was met with plenty of attention, including a huge royal banquet and a fly over from the Red Arrows – not to mention several protestors camping outside the castle walls.
LipReader looked over the footage as he was greeted by Kate and William and deciphered their brief conversation. They told The Sun that the President at first greeted his old “friends” and commented on Kate’s “beauty”.

Perhaps most surprisingly, as a gesture of surprise, Trump appeared to say “blow me”.
The phrase, while mostly used in a crude manner in the UK, can also be used as an expression of surprise over the Atlantic. It is a shortened version of “Well, blow me down!” – meaning, you are so surprised that a puff of air could knock you over.
According to LipReader, the conversation was as follows:
Donald Trump: “How are the children?”Prince William: “They’re well and at school.”Donald Trump: “Well, blow me.”Prince William: “The new term started a couple of weeks ago.”Donald Trump: “It’s been a while since you chatted with me.”Prince William (to Kate): “He has missed our little chats.”Prince William (to Donald): “We can talk now you’re here on a visit.”Donald Trump: “We have lots to catch up with, and there’s been lots of changes.”
The Trumps and the Waleses strolled side by side following their arrival – with William and Mr Trump engaged in conversation at the centre of the group, while the US President held his wife Melania’s hand before introducing them to the King and Queen.

They all walked over towards the King and Queen. However, before that body language expert Bruce Durham from Huddle Culture noticed a subtle gesture from Kate.
He explained to the Mirror: “When they walk away from the helicopter, you see Kate notices the closeness between Donald and Melania, but then what occurs is that her brain notices this and you’ll see there is a shift of her handbag in her hands.”
He continued: “And what this is, is that she notices that and she feels uncomfortable enough and her brain says move closer to William but because of that regimented royal protocol that’s been ingrained within her, all you get is a shift of the handbag, which indicates she wants to do it, but she regiments herself and recognises that spatial awareness.”
