I truly think that if he had never stopped doing his show Trump never would have become president in the first place. He used to do segments skewering Trump and his multiple bankruptcies when he ran the first time and how ridiculous it was he thought he could be president. He had a very wide reach, a much bigger influence than he even realizes. If only. We could have lived in a different world today.

Jon Stewart will always have my respect for the years of effort and blood sweat and tears he put into fighting for the 911 first responders to get health care and be treated for the injuries and illness they got from running into the World Trade Center to help anyone they can 😭 He stood on business for years and challenged Mitch McConnell constantly to come on his show. He talked shit about Mitch McConnell every week and never laid off him about it. He is a real one 🫡
