Appearing effortlessly chic, Kate wore a burgundy Emilia Wickstead dress paired with a coordinating hat by Jane Taylor, accessorized with a feather brooch and her trademark radiant smile.

Yet, as detected by a lipreader, the 43 year old mother of three was battling with her heels while trying to maintain a poised stride across the grass.

Lipreader Nicola J Hickling told The Express that she believes the Princess of Wales disclosed “My heels are sinking” as she and husband Prince William crossed the Windsor Castle lawn, reports the Mirror.
While countless people have undoubtedly endured this type of awkward and potentially mortifying predicament, few will have experienced it under global scrutiny.
Displaying care for his wife, William considerately inquired, “Are you okay though?”. Fortunately, Kate maintained her picture-perfect composure, and it’s understood their encounter with the Trumps proved successful.
Kensington Palace announced that William, Kate, and the Trumps had a “warm and friendly” meeting at Windsor Castle. The Palace has not disclosed any details about what the two couples discussed.

Royal enthusiasts were taken aback when First Lady Melania Trump was seen smiling broadly as she met her old ‘pen pal’, King Charles.
Melania is typically reserved, but she was visibly delighted to see Charles again.
In her 2024 memoir, Melania revealed that she and Charles found common ground during their first meeting in New York in 2005. It’s believed that they keep in touch through traditional letter writing, bonding over their shared love for architecture, gardening, and the arts.
Melania wrote in her book that she continues to correspond with “ongoing correspondence with King Charles III”. She confirmed that she and her husband “exchange letters” with the King “to this day”.
Their mutual interest in environmental issues reportedly brought them closer during the Trumps’ 2019 state visit to the UK. Melania, who was born in Slovenia, wrote: “The evening’s state banquet was a formal and elegant affair.
“I was seated next to Charles, and it was an absolute pleasure to reconnect with him. Our paths had crossed many years ago in New York City. This time, we engaged in an interesting conversation about his deep-rooted commitment to environmental conservation.”
At tonight’s dazzling state banquet, both King Charles and President Trump are slated to give brief speeches following a busy first day of the state visit.
