-Edie falco & James gandolfini from the sopranos. Rumours of how Edie wasn’t impressed when James would go on long drinking benders and wouldn’t show up to set. James would also do stuff like having rocks in his shoes and not sleeping to make himself angry. They seemed to have a chilly relationship

    • Long term rumours of how the actor who played furio would leak storylines . Would kinda explain his sudden departure from the show

    1. The whole don’t worry darling situation. What a time to be alive.

I can’t find the source, but while shooting *Mutiny on the Bounty* Marlon Brando allegedly took a boat and rowed himself onto the middle of a lake so he could eat a whole tub of ice cream while the director stood on the shore and screamed at him to stop.

    3. Joel McHale punched Chevy Chase bts on Community. Crew would yell at him to stop because “he’s old!” I don’t blame him. Chevy Chase was barely playing a character.

This isn’t a favorite because I love the show but Bea Arthur didn’t like Betty White.

It’s not really drama, but it’s still hilarious to me:

In Riverdale season 4 it’s all about Jughead being possibly dead and private school teacher’s jumping out of windows. This was teased during the season 3 finale when Archie, Betty and Veronica were standing in the woods at night only wearing their underwear and burning his beanie. The scene was about 30 seconds long.

Two of the actors later said that the scene had to be altered last minute and it was supposed to be with Jughead, but Cole Sprouse refused to shoot the scene because he was cold.

Whatever happened between Homelander and Starlight on the set of the boys that made them promote the show seperately for a season. I want to know.

    7. Edie Falco was allegedly a recovering alcoholic and the other cast members did a ton of partying, so she didn’t get to socialize and bond with them offset.

    8. I want to know The Pitt/Tracy Ifeachor drama that led to her departure. She was at the Emmys this weekend and it sure felt like she was working overtime to show she’s not on bad terms with anyone.

    9. It was before filming but Julia Roberts leaving the set of Shakespeare in Love while it was in pre-production and without notice because she couldn’t get Daniel Day-Lewis as her costar.
The studio in England lost a lot of money because of that, I’m surprised there was no lawsuit.

    10. when lea michele and naya rivera started absolutely hating each other during the entirety of filming season 4 of glee

NO one would be ‘impressed’ with that.

    12. The rumours are the actor who leaked storylines were actually Joseph Gannascoli (Vito). This kind of makes sense when you see that he wasn’t invited to any podcast made by actors of the show.

    13. Desperate Housewives with the Teri Hatcher of it all, her vs the others plus the Nicolette Sheridan/Marc Cherry drama. So much to unpack on that show

    14. From Titanic, Leonardo didn’t want to read lines and James Cameron basically shook his hand and was like ok, thanks for coming. DiCaprio was like: I’m not getting the part because I don’t read lines? And James answered that it was a multimillion project that was going to last over 2 years. He wasn’t going to fucked it up by casting the wrong guy. Leo agreed to the screen test and got the part.

Later he went to James saying he and his father were talking about giving some tragic background to Jack’s character, that’s when Cameron told him those were crutches, props that he used for acting and maybe he wasn’t ready to play Jack, who’s basically this straightforward character. Leonardo agreed then to keep Jack as it was.

    15. The Mad Max: Fury Road debacle:

Charlize Theron: I don’t want to rehash things, but it came out of a really bad moment where things kind of came to blows between me and Tom [Hardy].

Mark Goellnicht: I remember vividly the day. The call on set was eight o’clock. Charlize got there right at eight o’clock, sat in the War Rig, knowing that Tom’s never going to be there at eight even though they made a special request for him to be there on time. He was notorious for never being on time in the morning. If the call time was in the morning, forget it—he didn’t show up.

Ricky Schamburg: Whether that was some kind of power play or not, I don’t know, but it felt deliberately provocative. If you ask me, he kind of knew that it was really pissing Charlize off, because she’s professional and she turns up really early.

Mark Goellnicht: Gets to nine o’clock, still no Tom. “Charlize, do you want to get out of the War Rig and walk around, or do you want to . . .” “No, I’m going to stay here.” She was really going to make a point. She didn’t go to the bathroom, didn’t do anything. She just sat in the War Rig *[…]* Eleven o’clock. She’s now in the War Rig, sitting there with her makeup on and a full costume for three hours. Tom turns up, and he walks casually across the desert. She jumps out of the War Rig, and she starts swearing her head off at him, saying, “Fine the fucking cunt a hundred thousand dollars for every minute that he’s held up this crew,” and “How disrespectful you are!” She was right. Full rant. She screams it out. It’s so loud, it’s so windy—he might’ve heard some of it, but he charged up to her up and went, “What did you say to me?” He was quite aggressive. She really felt threatened, and that was the turning point, because then she said, “I want someone as protection.” She then had a producer that was assigned to be with her all the time.

Charlize Theron: It got to a place where it was kind of out of hand, and there was a sense that maybe sending a woman producer down could maybe equalize some of it, because I didn’t feel safe.

      […]

Nicholas Hoult (“Nux”): It was a tense atmosphere at times. It was kind of like you’re on your summer holidays and the adults in the front of the car are arguing.

Another article said the wives (Kravitz, Keough, Lee, etc) at one point were screaming and cursing at Hardy from the backseat of the truck. Everyone hated him lol

Leonardo DiCaprio being impossible and absolutely out of control during the filming of Gangs of New York. He was heavily into drugs and partying hard at the time, but it was pretty bad, as confirmed by Gisele Bundchen in a tell all interview. They’d go on long drug benders together and after the breakup she went sober immediately. It was alleged that he was also cheating on Gisele with Cameron Diaz at the time, another hard partier.

Martin Scorsese got tired of his antics, and he called him to his office where he yelled at him for like an hour. I think it’s the only time that Leonardo was ever unprofessional on a movie set. He doesn’t really have that reputation, but I guess he was going through stuff at the time.

    17. Wesley Snipes refusing to open his eyes during a scene in Blade Trinity so they had to CGI his eyes open.

    18. How much Christopher Plummer hated filming The Sound of Music. I’d watch a movie about it. He apparently gained 40 lbs from all the beer and Austrian food and misery. He hated filming with children, didn’t get along with Julie Andrews, and had an affair on set with Charmaine Carr (Liesel), which I could imagine adding to things given their ages. Also, the guy does actually do all his singing, but they decide they don’t like it and dub his singing over with Bill Lee. You can find his original version of Edelweiss and I actually prefer it. I may have some of this misremembered, but this is essentially the version I’ve been telling dramatically for years (I live in the same town that Christopher Plummer lived in and I also love the movie, so it comes up a lot).
