[Music] The future king and queen of England, Prince William and Kate Middleton, looking ever so regal at their latest royal engagement. I think there’s a sense of this being a fresh start for them. This is a new chapter in their lives. Catherine’s cancer journey is now behind her. The pair dressed to the nines for a state banquet hosting President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania. Kate wore a light gold embroidered long sleeve gown and her favorite tiara, Queen Mary’s lover’s knot, famously worn by her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana. But she used to complain it was so heavy she didn’t enjoy wearing it at all. In fact, the Queen had given it to Lady Diana Spencer to wear on her wedding day, but it was so heavy for Diana that she chose to wear the Spencer tiara instead. Kate seems to manage wearing it with great comfort, and that is Kate’s go-to tiara of choice. So, more often than not, if it’s a state reception or a banquet, you’ll see Kate wearing that lover’s not tiara. The state banquet comes amid Kate’s return to her royal duties after taking time off while being treated for cancer. She’s now in remission. This time last year, she was releasing the video in which she told us that she’d come to an end of her preventative course of chemotherapy. And I I think you know with the new house, with the new hair is a new drive, a new determination to really get back to where she left off just before her diagnosis. You know, she was very much picking and choosing what she was going to do based on how she was feeling. So she was there for the important moment. [Music]
