That’s awesome. How wild is it? This is crazy. Like I’m being interviewed by ET. It’s been very surreal. It’s It’s felt like a dream. I’m so happy to be here. I love Paris. It’s really special. I am super grateful that anybody’s watched this show. That kind of made me emotional. Um, hi. Um, thank you so much. You have made this what it is, guys. Thank you so much for coming along on Belly’s journey with us. We just hope we’d get one season and we’ve gotten three out of it. So, I’m very grateful that people have tuned in year after year. I hope that you know in the continuation of this journey and towards the end that you guys are happy that we put a lot of work in. We appreciate you. We love you and we hope that you enjoyed the finale. I love you guys and I hope you enjoy the show. We couldn’t do it without you. So, thank you. I have brown hair and brown eyes and I will always love Conrad Fischer. [Music] Oh yeah. Are we out of the woods? Are we out of the woods? Is this he taken? Conan, I choose you. I love you, Belly. I love you, too. I do want to thank you for delivering for the team Conrad out there. I didn’t know that she did. I I literally didn’t know that you’re in the show. We We haven’t seen everything. What was your reaction when you read How Things Go Down? Oh my gosh. Um I think I was shocked because they wouldn’t tell us. They wouldn’t tell us what was happening in the scripts. It was like week by week. Can I tell you something funny? They wouldn’t let me read it. So, because it was locked down. It was locked down. It was like locked down. You had to have like four passwords to access the script. I found out very late. I did not receive Yes. I did not receive like that part of the script. So, I really didn’t find out till Chris told me one day. I just remember thinking like what a beautiful like way to end it. I read the books and always assumed it would be the same way. I never had any doubts. That’s the arc of the story. I’ve enjoyed really just being on the journey with all these guys. Jenny wrapped it up beautifully. Hi. More content with Conrad winning at the end. No comment. I’m not going to say anything. But um uh I was very shocked. Did you always intend to end it this way? I think I my plan was always Conrad, but I I am the kind of writer that is curious and letting the story like lead me where it’s going to go. And so, you know, when I wrote the books, there were moments where I was like, you know, I really love Jeremiah as well as I’m writing it, you know, and you I think you especially when you have to write their perspective, then I think it really opens your mind to them in different ways. Um, but I think I’m I’m just really happy with the way that you are too. We are very happy. They don’t get married like they do in the book. We had just been through a whole season of a wedding and then I think that we needed to get them to the place that they were of like reconnection. So then it would have been like a five minute thing, a quick little thing to like wrap it up. And I think to me I would rather really do justice to the story that we’re telling in the season. Was any part of you ever leading more team Conrad because you know how the story is supposed to go? [Laughter] Um I um I think as Jenny intended, you just kind of go on that ride and and like follow Bell’s heart, I guess, which is hopefully what we were able to do with the show. I hope that you were confused sometimes. Um but I think it’s Yeah, I don’t know. It’s all very magical. I really want her to do whatever’s in her heart, even if it was being alone. I didn’t pick a side. I was always team belly. And I know some people think that Laurel is team Conrad, but Laura really is team belly. She just wants the best for her daughter. She just wants her to figure it out on her own and figure out who’s best for her. Jenny is just a genius. And so, uh, it was fun to get to work with her and see where she wanted the story to go. I got to know, what did you make of all the crazy fan discourse over team Jeremiah versus team Conrad? It was definitely heated. Yes. Yes. Did you hook up with Lacy Baron during spring break? It happened when we were on a break. Don’t touch me. We had sex. You Conrad told me he still has feelings for me. I mean, they were really passionate. They found any Easter egg, they found Easter eggs that I think maybe weren’t there. I love all the fan theories. It’s really an honor, I think, um, for people to care that much about a story that I thought up in my head, you know, and then to see people feel big emotions and have their watch parties and, you know, connect with other people and make friends online, all that is like really lovely. I had so many people being like, you know, Twilight was my version of that and to even have that be a comparison is so insane. What did you make of all the NFL team getting involved in the Conrad verse? Jeremiah. Oh my gosh. Yeah. I I remember who was it? Was it the Chiefs that were like I don’t even know what that is. That was funny. That was really funny. Team Conrad or team Jeremiah. What does that mean? Team Conor. Who are these people? I know a few people on the um the Chiefs like staff side and I’m like, “Yo, what was that?” Like, it was funny. It was funny. It’s okay. I’m more of a Dallas Cowboys fan myself. Look, you know, you’re like a brother to me, okay? But but getting married at 21 is a little crazy. No, I know Steven is Jeremiah’s boy, but do you agree with the criticism he received this season? I got to know. I haven’t really been keeping up with this season, so I don’t know any criticism that he’s gotten, but a lot. Oh, ring. The cake. Oh, well, the ring is hilarious. Let’s be honest. The ring slander was funny. Will you marry me? Yes. Yes. I know it’s small, but No, it’s it’s perfect. No. No. I cannot believe this is happening right now. Poor Jar took a lot of hits. He’s a real sport for it. The memes have been making me laugh. Some of them are really funny. Wonka. Jerry Wona. No cacao, but you can still keep the raspberry Belly. Cacao is the bean. It’s what chocolate is made of. Oh my gosh. My sister literally was the first person to say because I’ve been on social media for like three months, but my sister was the first person to send me that in our family group chat and I was like, “Yo, what is this?” The whole flavor profile depends on the bitterness of the dark chocolate and the sweet tartness of the raspberry. I don’t even like chocolate, so it was really funny to see all those memes. I don’t even eat Oreos. What’s up, you guys? Uh, just want to let you guys know I still love you. It’s okay. Even though memes and the roast, it’s been hard to avoid that people have been talking. Um, and I’m glad people uh are watching, of course, but I’ve been trying to stay away from it all. Did this season change at all the way you look at Peaches? Um, no. I forgot about it until people brought it back up. [Music] Absolutely. Of course. Yeah. It’s It’s crazy how so many like very simple things have become so associated with the with the show. It all comes from a place of love, but I love this world and I love these characters and I love these fans. I love working with Chris and Lola and Sean and Rain. It’s just been such a wonderful journey. These guys are the best. So, it’s been a really great experience. We worked on it really hard. Everyone cared a lot about doing the best that we could do. So, I think that’s all you can do. And I hope people are happy.
