Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars. It kicked off last night with a bang. Here’s what went down in the ballroom. [Music] That’s how to set off the new season of Dancing with the Stars. You said it, Alfonso. Dancing with the Stars kicked off its 34th season last night, but a familiar face was missing. Longtime judge Kiana Naba posted on Instagram that she would be missing the premiere due to feeling under the weather. And don’t think that just because it was week one that the stars were not ready to bring it. Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Whitney Levit. The old performance was incredible. And Robert Irwin both posted the highest scores of the night. Probably the best first dance I have ever seen on this show. That was incredible, man. Best first dance ever. I mean shocking. That shocked me. I feel like I had a good idea of what this show was about coming into it cuz my sister had done it, but it blew away every single expectation I ever had. Did Bindy give you any advice that, you know, something that she learned coming in as you were coming into the show? Bindy just said, “Take a breath and enjoy every single second of it. You’ve got a great partner. You’re going to be all good, but really try and enjoy this cuz it goes by so fast.” Jen Affleck told us what it was like having the rest of her Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast in the audience. It was so awesome. I hope that they get to do it in the future because this is the experience of a lifetime. I We saw Taylor’s in the audience. What was the reaction to her being named the Bachelorette in this next season? I think a lot of people are looking forward to it. I know a lot of people are going to watch. Secret Lives is shaking over and Dylan Efron told us all about Shaking It on national television. As soon as you started shaking, people were like, “Do it.” Well, like I was watching backstage and people went nuts for it. Did you? I mean, you could hear obviously in the ballroom, right? I don’t remember anything really. I don’t remember anything either after watching Dylan. What an amazing season this is about to be. You are married. I know. [Music]
