‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ cast spill details on upcoming movie #shorts

The movie is coming. What can you tell us about it? I mean, not much. Um, we’ve known for a little bit, but it’s fun that it’s finally out there in the world. I guess you would know the most about it, but Well, Jenny, I mean that it does bring me to you because those of us who know the books very well know that there was a wedding at the end of the third book. We did not get our wedding in the series finale. Do we get a wedding in the movie? I can say that um there is another big milestone um for Belly. Um so we’ll continue with that journey. Wow. You’re not going to give us anything, huh? I take that as a yes. Or so can you at least tell us where you are in the writing process when we can expect the movie? Can you tell us that? It’s still a little too soon to say. Okay. All right. Um but uh Sarah Kasark, who’s my co-runner, and I have um finished a draft. So we’re we’re chugging along. Wow.

“The Summer I Turned Pretty” isn’t over just yet. Following the recent series finale, Amazon Prime stunned fans by revealing that the hit series is getting a movie. The cast revealed movie details on the TODAY show.
