Well, it looks like Doa Cat got a little hungry at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards. While posing on the red carpet for the annual awards show in New York September 7th, the singer takes a moment to apply some rouge to her lips. However, she then leaves fans stunned as she bites into her lipstick and eats it. But it turns out the 29-year-old’s odd behavior is part of an announcement for her being the new face of MAC Cosmetics. InStyle exclusively reports that DOA is the brand’s newest global ambassador and is set to star in a series of campaigns featuring the makeup company’s most popular products. With the rapper telling the outlet, “I’ve been a macro forever and now I get to take that love to the global stage. Makeup is my paint, my armor, my way of creating characters.” And MAC has always stood for that kind of artistry and freedom. We’re going to push it even further and make people see beauty in a whole new way. So, as for the lipstick DOA took a chunk out of, well, it turns out it’s actually a chocolate replica of Mac’s iconic red lippy Lady Danger. And this jaw-dropping moment is just the beginning of DOA painting the VMAs red as she’s set to give the first televised performance of her new single Jealous Type during the ceremony in addition to being nominated for two awards.
