I’m sure they wouldn’t have wanted to play JKR’s birthday regardless, but after Christine died Mick was pretty emphatic that that was the end of the band. I can’t blame them either, I’m sure they want to be respectful to her memory and she’s the singer/songwriter on so many of their big hits, so it really wouldn’t be the same without her.
It’s still gonna be interesting to see who is going to perform/attend that party.
