Jimmy Kimmel is officially heading back to late night TV after a week-long suspension. ABC’s parent company Disney confirmed that the show will resume on Tuesday, saying they had thoughtful conversations with Kimmel after suspending him over what they called illtimed comments about Charlie Kirk’s assassination. The network explained the pause was meant to avoid further inflaming a tense situation, but ultimately decided it was time to bring the show back. Kimmel had faced backlash after joking about Kirk’s death and President Trump’s reaction. Next, Priscilla Presley is opening up like never before in her new memoir, Softly As I Leave You. In the book, Priscilla recalls the moment Elvis suggested she consider an abortion after she became pregnant with their daughter, Lisa Marie, just weeks into their marriage. She also reveals the dark turn in their relationship, saying Elvis once forced himself on her after learning she had an affair. Beyond her marriage, Priscilla admits she never trusted Lisa Marie’s relationship with Michael Jackson, claiming he married her daughter for good publicity at the height of his scandals. And much of the memoir is devoted to Lisa Marie’s heartbreaking struggles with addiction, financial wos, and personal loss, which Priscilla says ultimately led to her tragic death in 2023. And finally, Prince Harry says he had the time of his life this summer at Disneyland with Megan, Archie, and little Lil Bet. The Duke of Sussex shared details of the family’s magical trip during a special edition of 2020, celebrating 70 years of Disneyland. Harry joked that his kids thought the park was amazing before they even made it past the entrance, and he loved watching them dive into the rides and surprises. Megan posted highlights on Instagram, including Lilett’s Little Mermaid birthday cake and plenty of selfies from Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Both Harry and Megan also reflected on their own childhood visits with Harry remembering endless spins on Space Mountain and Megan recalling high school grad night at the park.
