‘Bring It On’ Stars Kirsten Dunst, Gabrielle Union and More Reunite 25 Years After Movie’s Release

The stars of Bring It On reunite 25 years after the movie’s release. Kirstston Dunst, Gabrielle Union, Jesse Bradford, and Lindseay Sloan came together for a special 25th anniversary screening at the Alamo Draft House in Los Angeles September 21st. And the group looked like they hadn’t aged a day in the last quarter century and in one shot could be seen sharing a laugh in the theater as they took part in an audience Q&A about the teen classic. Gabrielle, who starred as the Clover’s cheerleading captain, Isis, recently shared a look back at Bring It On, posting a video to Instagram August 23rd, reflecting on the fact that they had made an instant classic. I cannot believe 25 years. That’s is that’s a quarter of a century. The Bring It On came out. We just thought we were having a fun summer in San Diego, making it a movie about, you know, children justice, but we made an instant classic about so much more politically, socially relevant topics that are still resonating today. And the film has been equally as meaningful for Kirsten, who was only 17 when she played the role of Tauros cheer captain Torrance. But she recently said she has no interest in revisiting the iconic role for a sequel. She told Entertainment Tonight, “I’m like, leave good things where they are. I don’t need to put on a cheerleading outfit.” Kirsten added, “I don’t even know what I would do. Be a coach or something? Nah, let’s leave it as is. [Music]
