Hilaria Baldwin says husband Alec ‘always has notes’ on her ‘DWTS’ performance

[Music] I have to say I was so excited when I heard you were going to be on. I love your Tik Toks. It makes me want to do like the sexy salsa dance. Yes. But Julianne Huff said that was your way of campaigning to get on the show. Is there any truth to that or were you just having fun and they called, they saw you? No, it’s so the the true story is I was just dancing. I’m new to Tik Tok. I’ve only been on it for a handful of months and so I was just trying to like understand it and I’m like, “Okay, Tik Tok dances. I’m trying. I of course make Alex do it with me as most wives do.” And um and then like a few days before they called me and they’re like, “Do you want to do this?” And first I was like, “That’s crazy because I have to move seven kids here.” I never thought about doing this show in my life. And I got everybody on a plane and we came out here and this is what we’re doing. But it was like the day of we’re finding a place to live that like two days ago we’re figuring out school like all of the things as other moms know there’s a lot of moving parts with kids. So that’s that is the that is the true story. Yes, I I have heard about the campaigning thing. I mean, I wish I had been campaigning because this is so fun. I wish I did it a long time ago. Right. And you moved all the kids to LA when you met Alec for the first time. I love that he’s in rehearsals on the footage. I saw him backstage. What was your initial reaction? Glenn, I was starruck. I was like, “Oh my god, a dream come true. I need some acting lessons.” It was amazing. Such a cool guy. So supportive. He came to our rehearsals a couple of times. We danced together. He gave us some notes. It was like, “Hey, he always has notes.” Always knows. Can we get him involved in a dance some way? I feel like he needs to just be somehow in there using the acting chops. And you want to hear Do you want to hear the secret? You got to vote for us because it might just happen if we just stay in. I love that. Well, GL, for you, I feel like this is a comeback season. Last year got a little dicey. There was some drama, but you have a great partner. You guys are so beloved online. Do you feel like it’s some redemption time? I feel like I’m back to my competition time, you know. Uh we speak the same language. Tiky ticky tat tata. You saw that in the package. So Laria understands me perfectly and it’s like, you know, it’s perfect. It’s like flying a rocket ship to the moon with her. You know, it’s smooth and fast and the connection is there. It’s just perfect. True. What was Alex’s reaction to getting all seven kids on the plane and taking them to LA? What did he say to that? Well, he wasn’t on that plane, lucky him, filming a movie. Yes. Now my he’s actually going to be working a lot over the next couple of months. So is we’re going to be very by coastal but um no I mean he’s been wanting me to do this forever. It’s almost like he would have been the one campaigning for me and I was like that’s crazy. I can’t do that. I’m almost seven. I broke my hip. I can’t do that. But um so I don’t know. He and everybody who called in to Dancing with the Stars to recommend me and everybody here in the Dancing with the Stars family, that’s that’s who got me here and I’m very grateful because it’s a dream come true. Well, I love the Baldwins on TLC. I feel like the show really showed a whole different side of your family. What is something you really want America to learn about you throughout this journey? I think one of the most important things I’ve learned from being around of a lot of people over the past 15 years who are spoken about in in the press and by other people is learn who they are from them. That is one of the most important things. I don’t read stuff about other people. I want to hear what they have to say. And that’s I hope that everybody does that with us.

Alec Baldwin isn’t two-stepping away from sharing his opinion.

The “Second Nature” star, 67, earned a 10 from his wife Hilaria Baldwin, as he supported her during her debut performance on Season 34 of “Dancing With the Stars” Tuesday night. NY Post Entertainment Reporter Alexandra Bellusci shares this story.

However, during the wellness influencer’s rehearsal alongside partner Gleb Savchenko, Baldwin couldn’t help but chime in with a thought – or two.
