Katy Perry Details Being “Tested and Tried” During Rollercoaster Year | E! News

Katy Perry is reflecting on her roller coaster of a year. Katie marks the anniversary of her album 143 by celebrating how the milestone has inspired her to let go months after ending her engagement to Orlando Bloom. The 40-year-old looks back on the highs and lows she has experienced since the album’s release, writing in a September 22nd Instagram post, “We cats and rats have been through a roller coaster, but wherever the ride took us, we have been together. We celebrate the wins and reflect on the losses. All of it is valuable. Let’s hope we get to evolve together for years to come and at the end of it all be proud and at peace with how we tried our best in this imperfect world. Katie, who split from fiance Orlando Bloom in July, adds, “Lately, I have been seeing 341, which has me thinking now after giving so much, do I love myself finally? Well, I get the opportunity to answer that question a new everyday. Today’s answer is yes. I am proud of where and how I have landed in this moment. The mom of 5-year-old Daisy Dove, who she shares with Orlando, continues, “Whatever comes next, I’m letting it unfold naturally. No forcing, no controlling, just trusting the angels, the fans, and the music to guide me where I meant to go. Please know this.
