Influencer Zuza Beine Dead At 14 After 11-Year Cancer Battle

Zuzabini has passed away at age 14. The social media sensation had acquired nearly 2 million followers on Instagram while sharing her journey with acute miloid leukemia. On September 23rd, her family shared a post to her Instagram page announcing that Zuza had passed away. She lived 11 of her 14 years with a relentless cancer yet lived more fully and gratefully than most. The caption reads, “Her being changed us forever and her dying will too.” Zuza’s parents, who run her Instagram account, also remarked on how their daughter lived her life, saying, quote, “More than anything, she wanted to be a normal, healthy kid. But what made her life so beautiful was how she learned to face the hardest circumstances like her disease and still live fully.” The last video that Zuza shared spoke to her gratitude for small moments of joy in life. [Music] In a 2023 interview with the local NBC affiliate in Milwaukee, Zuza said that she started sharing online about how she lives with her illness to help other kids experiencing similar health journeys. Didn’t think it would go blow up that much. What did you think would happen? I thought it’d just be like my friends online friends or like my mom’s Facebook friends following me. I started my Instagram cuz I wanted to share my journey with other people and I wanted to help other kids that were going through the same thing as me. [Music]
