Dwayne Johnson’s newest project, The Smashing Machine, tells the story of legendary mixed martial arts and UFC fighter Mark Kerr. We’ll sat down with Dwayne and his leading lady, Emily Blunt, to find out what it was like to transform into these real life characters and so much more. Winning is the best feeling there is. It helps obviously that we’ve known each other for such a long time. It was the most gratifying experience I’ve ever had in my life and in my career. The skin’s bad. The skin’s insane. Know what I’m doing? All right. It was just so beautiful to see him come in as Mark Curr for the first time in the camera test and not just a physical shift, an entire demeanor shape shift. It was like spooky to be honest and so exciting. So, what does it mean to you now that you’ve put this baby out into the world that people are like, I don’t know, there could be a potential Oscar run here. Really? That feels crazy. Get it out of here. Feels crazy. Not close. It feels amazing. I grew up in trailer parks as a kid in little apartments and then all of a sudden you’re like, that that’s a conversation. I’m curious if your actual families are close. Are your girls close to each other? When they play they are the cutest together. send videos all the time, but also I live in New York and he lives in LA, so it’s harder. But I want to bring them out next year for sure. I don’t understand why it’s so difficult to confirm the point. No, I’m so sorry, Miranda. I actually did confirm of your incompetence do not interest me. I thought Rock lost all this weight, he is still bloody massive looking next to Emily. I think Emily is one of the few versatile actresses in Hollywood, she can play many different roles and pull it off.
