‘DWTS’ couples tease first-ever ‘TikTok Night’ for Week 3: Robert Irwin, Whitney Leavitt, and more
Next week is the first ever Dancing of the Stars Tik Tok night. We’re all so excited. What is it going to entail? Because the show started on this. Tik Tok dance is happening. You know, I mean, Tik Tok is such a huge platform for dance. So, we kind of just want to celebrate that it brings people together. People want to dance with you. I mean, that’s the joy about dance is you want to do something that gets people up, gets people moving. So, hopefully it’ll just be a really entertaining show and a lot of fun. It’s going to be great. It’s going to be great. Really great. I’m excited. Well, thank you guys so much. Hey, Gen Z, all you Gen Z Tik Tockers, it’s going to lowkey slap Sigma. You You hear me? It’s going to be interesting. Yeah, I think it’s going to be great song selections. They they they blow up on TikTok for a reason. I think it’ll be familiar for the audience. Uh doing them in a ballroom context will be interesting, but we’re here for the creativity. We’re going to make it work. And lastly for you, Charlie is coming back. just talk to us really quickly about how awesome it’s going to be for Tik Tok night. Of course. I mean, you know, queen of Tik Tok, dear friend, one of my one of my babies. I’m so excited to see her and um have her back out on the dance floor again. Charlie Charlie is a dear friend of mine and we’re very close and I’m excited to have her back here. No, this is going to be an iconic moment for Dancing with the Stars just cuz Yeah, you’re right. We haven’t done it before and there’s so many like Tik Tok icons on this show. Um, and so yeah, it’s definitely a big deal. Um, and just the fact that Charlie Demilia is gonna be here next week, too. Like she’s Tik Tok queen. Like, it’s gonna be a special night for sure. Yeah. And are we going to be incorporating any specific current dance trends into the performance? Okay. So, I’m going to be honest. I’m still learning about Tik Tok and everything from Jen. So, I still don’t know. We still have six days to figure it out. So, we will see. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, but we definitely have a surprise coming your way. Just just you wait. We’re going to do the samba to one of the hit songs. I’m super excited about it. It’s going to be authentic samba with a little flavor of a Tik Tok. Okay. So, yeah. All right. We’re excited. We’re excited for it. And for me, who I, you know, have more experience with Latin dances, I’m excited after this week, which was very, very new for me to go back to something that is a tiny bit more familiar, but at the same time, then I have higher standards for myself. So, it’s just like a little bit of I will work my butt off. That is your answer. I mean, it’s going to entail incredible music, I think. Incredible. More costumes, moments that live on Tik Tok forever. Fire. It’s going to be fire. Yeah. I don’t know what to expect though cuz it is the first time. It is. But is there anything you can tease about the dance you’re going to be doing? Or is there going to be like a Tik Tok trend specifically? I don’t think Here’s the thing. I don’t think you can do trends cuz they’re IP. That’s true. But I think it’s going to be heavily inspired either the music or or maybe some people can do trends. We don’t know. We also don’t know what anyone else is doing. But we’re going to do a very I’m going to use a different word. We’re bringing some edge to the ballroom. Edgy dance. Okay.
