Survivor’s Jeff Probst Calls Out Disrespectful Players Cut from Season 49 | E! News
In the days leading up to the beginning of the game, all the players are together. They’re at a place we call Ponderosa. So, you have all of your competitors, but you’re not allowed to talk. Jeff Probes detailing two contestants whose loose lips sunk their chances to outwit, outplay, and outlast on Survivor 49. The longtime host breaking it all down across the show’s on fire recap podcast. The rules are you cannot talk to each other for obvious reasons. And in this season, season 49, we had two players who were disrespecting that rule. They just kept talking. So much so that I got a call saying there’s a level of concern. And I went and met with our executive team and said, “Look, we might have a situation.” And before we could even finish our discussion, I got a second phone call saying that the level of disrespect had reached an even more blatant level. And that was all it took. Yep. two torches blown out before even being lit. Turning into good news for standby alternates Jason and Michelle, who joined the cast after Jeff deemed enough was enough with their pregame predecessors. Candidly, the decision was made in that moment to immediately remove those two players from the game and replace them with our alternates. The players once they were able to talk, they thanked our producers because they said, “We were all aware that this was happening and it felt like cheating. It’s the first time in history we’ve ever done this.” Which is saying something. We’ve done this 49 times. [Music]

How dumb do you have to be to get the chance to be on one of the best shows of all time and blow it at the 11th hour because you decided you were above the rules
Survivor is the gold standard for Competitive Reality TV Show and I'm glad they keep prioritizing the integrity of the game, over "highly entertaining" contestants.
Jeff Probst needs to be fired or let go because he has gone woke & made the show boring lolzzz 😂😂😂
You did the right thing! This is a game with RULES and the chance to win a lot of $$$. Ppl Must Respect the Game and the Rules! Talking when told not to talk is Cheating and that in itself is reason for termination of a player. 😉❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
