What Police Seized From Home Allegedly Tied to D4vd Amid Death Investigation | E! News
New details have emerged in the investigation into the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Following the September 8th discovery of the 15-year-old’s body in the front trunk of a Tesla that was registered to singer David, detectives served a search warrant for the Hollywood Hills property where the vehicle was near before it was towed to a local impound lot. According to the Los Angeles Times, law enforcement sources with knowledge of the case, but not authorized to speak publicly, told the outlet that investigators recovered various items from the Sunset Boulevard home, including electronics and computers. David, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, does not own the property, but had allegedly been staying at the rental home before beginning his world tour at the start of the summer. Law enforcement sources had previously told ABC News. Enus has reached out to the LAPD but has not heard back. Authorities are still piecing together the connection between Rivas Hernandez and David with the Times stating that the case is being investigated by robbery homicide detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department. At this time, the LAPD hasn’t named a person of interest or a suspect in the case. A spokesperson for David told NBC News on September 17th that the 20-year-old is quote fully cooperating with authorities. The singer also cancelled the remainder of his tour dates with no concerts currently showing on his website. Rivas Hernandez’s body was first discovered at the impound lot when police were called due to foul odor coming from a vehicle. The body was identified as the teen who had been reported missing on April 5th, 2024 from Lake Elsenor, California, a city approximately 70 mi away from Los Angeles. She was 13 years old at the time of her disappearance. Her cause of death was deferred according to records from the medical examiner’s office viewed by E-News on September 17th with the date of her death listed as September 8th, the day her body was discovered. She was not 15! She was born on September 7th, 2010. She was last reported missing and last seen by her family on April 5th, 2024 where she would've been 13! She turned 14 five months later on September 7th, 2024. Her body was found SEVERELY decomposed on September 8th, 2025 just one day after what would have been her 15th birthday. But judging based off of the state of her body, she was clearly dead weeks, if not a month or MORE, before she turned 15! Stop referring to her as a 'young woman' or a '15 year old' because she NEVER got to live to see her 15th birthday. Dead people don't age. Rest in peace. Say her name CELESTE RIVAS HERNANDEZ!🤍🙏🏻
