I don’t know much about Lewis Hamilton, but I can tell how much he loved his pup in these clips. It’s the heavy price to pay for loving an animal, you almost always outlive them.

Saying goodbye to pets is so hard, especially when you consider them your family.

Choosing humane euthanasia is a final act of love for them. It’s selfless, because as much as you want them to stay, you also don’t want them to suffer.

    3. It’s been over a year since I lost my dog ( a little too young) and this has me tearing up 😭

    4. I’ve been through what he is going through and it was the most devastating feeling in my life.

What helped is someone telling me that their lives are not defined by how they ended. Roscoe was obviously cherished and loved in a way that I wish all dogs and cats got to experience. I wish Lewis Hamilton all the best.

      💔💔💔

We made our family dog sleep last year, she was 16 so it was so hard to remember things without her and we still remember her every day. You really never stop missing them.

We don’t give a lot of space to this type of loss to the degree it affects us. Lose a parent, a family member, a friend – god forbid a child – and the world naturally accommodates or at least pauses to understand. Lose a pet and it’s still not mainstream accepted to be in the same category but it absolutely can be.

Sometimes all we have are our pets.

      Poor Lewis.

How are you all being so articulate? I’m just over here blubbering at 1am. RIP Roscoe 😭

    8. Pain like no other. I have never been more sad in my life then when I had to put down my senior cat. This video is hard for me to watch. I empathize with Lewis so much, pet loss grief is very very real.

Oh man, it is so horrible seeing your pet who was full of life be at the hospital this way, nearing the end. Worst feeling

It’s the worst feeling in the world. Making that decision weighs on you like nothing else. I wish Lewis the absolute best. He gave Roscoe the most wonderful life imaginable.

    11. I’m sleeping next to my fist dog who’s almost 3 and I’m 39. It’s 8:21am and tears are rolling down my face and I never cry. I don’t want this to happen for anyone and I can’t imagine my buddy leaving me 🙁
