Liam Hemsworth shares how fans of The Witcher’s reaction to him replacing Henry Cavville on the show affected him. Months after the actor debuted his rugged transformation in The Witcher’s fourth season, he reveals how he navigated fans reaction to the sudden recasting since the role had previously been played by Henry. He tells Entertainment Weekly in an interview published September 25th, “There was quite a bit of noise and I had to put that aside. It started to become a distraction. I dealt with that sort of thing in the past a lot and you know at the end of the day I love making movies and I love telling stories and acting. I just don’t want any of that to affect my way of telling the story that I’m trying to tell. Viewers of the Netflix series were notably stunned when Henry announced that Liam would take over as the white-haired Witcher in 2022.
