      Obviously we don’t know what happened but I’m feeling like Keith is fumbling the bag if he thinks he can do better

      A little surprising given how well they seem to get along and how long they’ve been together. He’s probably having a run of the mill mid-life crisis. I bet they don’t divorce but simply stay separated until he gets it together.

      So that application for a residence in Portugal was really for her alone, if its true.

      Shocking but, and I don’t know much about them, they seem to be constantly away filming in her case or touring in his case. Stars often invoke this when they separate.

      I’m genuinely surprised by this. At the Golden globes I remember Nikki Glaser making a joke that said “Thank you to Keith Urban for playing the guitar so much that [Nicole] wants to leave and make 18 movies a year” and I remember wondering if that maybe hit closer to home than she intended. Nicole seemed to really love him though and be loyal to him—I’m bummed for her.

      I dont know why but I never fully bought the perfect relationship thing with them in recent years. Maybe Nicole’s mom passing away was a wake up call that life is too short not to be happy.

      Just saw it was Keith’s decision, wow.

      I’m old enough to remember the Cruise/Kidman divorce. Tom Cruise made it a point to say the divorce was his decision, and “Nicole knows what she did.” This is giving me uncomfortably similar vibes.
