I feel like Father Figure had a recent mini resurgence on social media after it was used in Babygirl, so wouldn’t surprise me if she was trying to harness that somehow.

Option 1: It’s a sample.
Option 2: It’s some previously unused song lyrics or a song concept of his that she reworked.
Option 3: Taylor’s got a necromancer or a medium on the payroll and they’ve actually been talking to George from beyond the grave.
