Jane Goodall speaks about chimpanzees & Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner sue Ray J | Page Six Headlines
Renowned anthropologist and conservationist Jane Goodall has died at the age of 91. We’ve got more on her life and lasting legacy in today’s Page Six headlines. The Jane Goodall Institute confirmed Wednesday that the legendary British scientist passed away of natural causes while in California for a speaking tour. Goodall was best known for her groundbreaking study of chimpanzees in Tanzania, where her observations transformed the world’s understanding of primates and their social structures. Over the decades, she became a tireless advocate for environmental conservation and animal welfare, earning international recognition as a UN messenger of peace. Her institute says her discoveries and advocacy will continue to inspire future generations committed to protecting the natural world. Next, Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner are taking legal action against Ray J, suing him for defamation over what they call blatantly false racketeering claims. According to court documents obtained by Page Six, the motheraughter duo accused Ray J of spreading calculated falsehoods after he alleged in both a documentary and a viral live stream that federal RICO charges against them were imminent. The lawsuit states that no such investigation exists and that Ray J offered no credible evidence whatsoever to support his accusations. Kardashian and Jenner argue his remarks are part of a years’slong pattern of exploiting their names for attention, causing damage to their reputations and well-being. Their attorney, Alex Spiro, said this marks the first time either has filed a defamation claim, but noted the seriousness of the allegations left them no choice. The lawsuit seeks to hold Ray J accountable and stop what Kardashian and Jenner describe as an ongoing campaign of harassment. And finally, Nicole Kidman’s unexpected frustration in her marriage to Keith Urban is coming to light following their recent split. According to People, Kidman was reportedly frustrated by Urban’s lack of support for her career before she filed for divorce. Sources told the outlet that while Kidman once prioritized raising their daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, she is now thriving in her work again with her children cheering her on. Urban, however, was said to be the opposite of supportive, with insiders noting he had grown accustomed to Kidman prioritizing his career instead. Their marriage officially ended after 19 years with Kidman filing for divorce just one day after news of their separation surfaced. Kidman has since requested in her divorce filing to be the primary residential parent of their two daughters for 306 days out of the year with Urban allotted 59 days.
