I like them cloaked in Gucci and in scandal. like my whiskey sour and poison thorny flowers. And it didn’t take long for listeners to connect the dots. As one fan writes on X, “Reading literacy is so dead with people saying cancelled might be about Blake Lively. Girl was the face of Gucci, did the Flower Movie, and had her own brand of sour. Might as well name drop. Come on now.” However, others aren’t as convinced. Another Swifty shares their theory that the song is actually referencing Britney Mahomes, who came under fire for her public support of President Donald Trump, with the fans saying, “My hot take is that Cancelled is about Britney Mahomes and not Blake.
