Bringing Up Bates’ Erin Bates Marks Major Milestone After Sepsis Battle | E! News

Aaron Bates shares an encouraging update amid her ongoing health battle. Just a month after the Bringing Up Bates star went into septic shock following giving birth to her and husband Chad Payne’s seventh child, son Henry, she’s now giving fans an update on her health. Writing in an October 2nd Instagram post, “I don’t even have the words. For weeks, my leg has not worked since my seizure in the hospital. I’ve been carried, wheeled, and helped through tears and prayers, and today it moved. Today, I took steps. They might be a little wobbly, but they are steps I wasn’t sure I’d ever take again. The 34year-old continues, “I’ve cried until I laughed and laughed until I cried. My heart is overflowing with gratitude. Jesus, you are faithful. You are the healer. All glory belongs to you.” Aaron, who’s also mom to kids 10-year-old son Carson, 8-year-old daughter Brooklyn, seven-year-old daughter Everly, 5-year-old daughter Holland, three-year-old daughter Finley, and one-year-old son William. Then ends the emotional post with a message to her medical team and followers, saying, “To those who have prayed and encouraged us, thank you. You have been a part of this miracle. To the doctors, nurses, and therapists who have poured so much into my recovery, we are forever grateful. Today, we are standing literally in awe, giving thanks for every single step forward.
