Ryan Adams turning so nasty is a real disappointment to me! I’d been aware of his general asshole-ishness since, I don’t know, 2006? I guess lots of people knew before that but I’m not always paying attention to things outside the music. And it like, OK, some people who make good music have bad personalities. I thought it was wack that he released that cover album of 1989. But then it got inexcusable and I’m sad about it. I had Strangers Almanac by Whiskeytown on cassette tape when I was in high school! It’s big loss to me.
