I truly thought I was doing the right thing. I I thought in the moment, hey, the best thing for you to do is to remove yourself. The wedding is in three weeks. Three weeks, man. Three weeks. You’re the one that is asking me to leave now. I got to get out of here. I can’t do this. You know, honestly, I think going into it, kind of touching on that condensed timeline, you go into it and you’re skeptical, but I think you you start going on these dates and you’re having fun. You’re forming these connections and you get optimistic. You start thinking, okay, maybe maybe this can work for me. But I think sometimes I am practical to a fault and uh in this case was no exception. You had that timeline in the back of your mind and the days start ticking by and I think I realized a proposal is probably not in the cards for me. I truly thought I was doing the right thing. I I thought in the moment, hey, the best thing for you to do is to remove yourself from this experiment. I I didn’t feel like I was close to a proposal with any of my connections. Yeah. I think everyone was like being very intentional, right? And I definitely had thoughts where it’s like, okay, if I’m here to, you know, propose and get married. So, if my person’s not here, what am I doing? You know, I have my son at home. I was that was an investment how how I saw it. I was taking away, you know, that’s time I wasn’t going to get back with my son. So, um, it was just, uh, yeah, I just wanted again to be intentional. Um, so if my person wasn’t there, then what am I doing? I feel like I could scream and laugh and cry all at once. God has put us down this path together. I’m about to change forever. You didn’t even fight for me. Just totally gaslighting you. He’s completely broken my heart. At the altar, the truth will come out. [Music]
