This is probably not entirely unrelated to the Donny Skipper story…he’s a TikTok guy who makes videos about what’s going on in America, in a humorously critical way. He was fired from Claire’s recently and has been posting about that now too. He claims he was fired for his social media presence. They claim he was bringing politics into the workplace. They have since set forth legal action because they claim he has incited calls for violence and now they’ve had to hire all this extra security for their stores and executives…
I will say. I have not watched everything Donny Skipper has done. What I have seen has not called for any violence to the stores or individuals. If violence is being theatened/committed, it doesn’t seem to be his organizing it…it’s all so over the top.
But I can see this common thread from Claire’s of invoking “radical leftists” in how they frame things.
Then Hot Topic stands alone.
