Alix Earle details creative process behind her viral ‘TikTok Night’ routine on ‘DWTS’
Tik Tok night was your night, girlfriend, and there were so many ways to execute the theme. Talk to us about the creative process of why you chose that song and that idea and incorporating Molly’s choreography. That was amazing. I mean, when I first heard of Tik Tok Night, I just I had assumed that everyone was going to think we were going to do something or I was going to do something kind of just like along the popular trends or cringey or whatnot with the dancing. So, I was trying to think of a time like I was on TikTok and really fell in love with dance choreography and I remembered this trend that I think it was like late spring, early summer and I brought the idea up to Val and he was like, “Well, I actually know Molly Long.” So, we got to have her come in and help us with the choreography and it was so so cool and I’m so happy that we went with it. Um, and just gave a special nod to such a special dance and special choreography. It was so good. And Val, I have to congratulate you on officially becoming an Earl girl. So, what message do you have for the supporters who have welcomed you in with open arms? Well, first of all, I just want to say thank you. You have made a very good choice. I uh and I I I’ve heard recently you’re rebranding from Earl Girls to Bows Gals. I love that. Easier to say. Way easier to say. So, yeah. Thank you.
