Apparently, Prince William and Kate Middletonâs competitiveness isnât confined to sports and recreation. They also love a good trivia night pub challenge â and they are training their kids to love it, too. According to The Sun, the royals take their kids Prince George, 12, and Princess Charlotte, 10, to pub every week for quiz night, and it sounds like a really cool and unique family tradition.
âThe quiz is actually very tricky but also a lot of fun,â one of the Walesesâ pub quiz rivals told The Sun. âMy lips are sealed on whether âTeam Walesâ has ever won first prize.â

Bringing the kids along to trivia night might not be solely a bonding decision â it could be strategic as well. After all, Prince William just told Eugene Levy on the Apple TV+ The Reluctant Traveler that while history is not his best subject, Prince George is âway betterâ at it. So maybe the future heir to the throne is doing his part to help Team Wales win!
Prince William, who also shares son Prince Louis, 7, with Middleton, also told Levy that none of their kids have cell phones. âWe sit and chat, itâs really important. None of our children have any phones, which weâre very strict about,â he said.
He also shared that their kids are competitive too. Louis is âobsessed with trampolining,â he said, per Hello!, adding, that Charlotte and Louis will âend up jumping up and down on the trampoline, beating each other up, most of the time. Apparently, there is an art to it.â Knowing how competitive their parents are, this doesnât surprise us at all!
