    Taylor Swift’s “Wood” About Travis Kelce Is Her Most NFSW Ever | E! News

    Taylor Swift isn’t being shy when it comes to her love of Travis Kelce. On the song Wood, one of the 12 tracks off her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, Taylor celebrates all the elements of their romance. Emphasis on the word all. The song begins innocently enough with the Grammy winner recounting her streak of romantic bad luck before meeting Travis. A love she sings that doesn’t require her to quote knock on wood. But Wood, of course, is a double entandra. And after the chorus, the lyrics take a not safe for work turn. Taylor sings, quote, “Forgive me, it sounds cocky. He omitized me and opened my eyes. Redwood tree, it ain’t hard to see. His love was the key that opened my thighs.” Just a few lines later, Taylor also notes, quote, “The curse on me was broken by your magic wand.” Adding in a reference to Travis and Jason Kelsey’s podcast, New Heights of Manhood. In a more innocent illusion, Taylor also references her future with Travis, who proposed in August. She sings, quote, “Girls, I don’t need to catch the bouquet to know a hard rock is on the way.” Much of the life of a showgirl is a tribute to her love with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. Starting with the opening track, The Fate of Oilia. And on Honey, she details Travis’s adorable nickname for her, as well as her hopes for a quiet, family-filled future with him in Wish List.     Taylor Swift’s song “Wood” off ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ is one of the many songs dedicated to Travis Kelce on the album.
