It gets worse on the day of the incident (listed in the article) Sept 29 this man posted a picture of his wife captioned “my gift” wtfwtfwtfwtf
Truly terrifying that it was her co-star that she had so many scenes with. She was so brave to come forward and speak up and I’m so glad that CBS took action quickly and did the right thing for once. I hope she continues to receive support from everyone around her.
Handling this just 6 days after the incident and addressing it so publicly on all fronts (firing the alleged offender, detailing how he was ‘escorted off the premises’, naming the victim, victim speaking out, etc.) is unusually transparent for this town. I’m glad, but I have to wonder why they’ve gone against established protocol.
Good on Leah for how she’s handling this, and I’m glad she’s got a really good support system as well.
i didn’t know about this. this man hurt my ellie chu?? it’s sad that i’m surprised at how they believed her, took her side, and justice was served.
Oh she’s in The Half Of It. I LOVE that movie. Hope she’s ok.
