FYI, for the non-baseball fans/former players on this sub (which I’ve got to assume is a lot of you), by trying to beat the runner with a throw towards home plate with two outs, the pitcher made the kind of mistake that you get benched for in Little League, much less Major League Baseball. A genuinely and stunningly humiliating way to lose a game.
I feel so bad for Kerkering. That throw is gonna haunt him for the rest of his life.
Fuck the Dodgers. They let ICE camp out in their stadium and forcibly removed a Hispanic neighborhood to build Dodgers stadium.
Good that at least a couple of his teammates tried to briefly console him. Hopefully they did off camera too that we didn’t see.
