I’ve seen some creeped up vibes from dudes who are way over familiar and spammy with even some of my favorite asmr creators. I worry a bit for the asmr ladies.. because these dudes are walking red flags and are all over their accounts.
Reminds me of what happened to Christina Grimmie and that one woman who was a streamer in Japan.

South Korea is a capitalist dystopia that is only making the gender war there worse. A country that is completely under the control of the capitalist American empire will not effectively be able to tackle the problems that plague its society.
The gender war there helps those in power maintain control, if the men there are too busy murdering women then they won’t be able to recognize that they’re being exploited. All of this is connected.

There is a streamer on twitch I’ve been following for 10 years and she had her fair share of creeps and stalkers. Also men that love to “donate” to get a bit of attention get so easily convinced it’s more than that.
She’s not even famous. I can’t even imagine how it must be for the girls that have a bit more fame than her.
The difference in reporting is that apparently partially the US just doesn’t use the term even outside of things like Trump’s regime. But it’s a problem here too.

it’s nice to see the tone of the internet as a whole change, because i’m certain this same headline in a 2008-10 era forum would be full of comments like, “i’d be mad if i spent 70k and got ghosted too!”
for some reason i expected to open these comments and see a few of those, but i guess i forgot where i was for a moment.

i just hope whoever came up with that one tweet “i think all men should start off in jail and prove their way out” feels vindicated every time their point is proven 100% right. with that being said, rest in peace to this woman and this was such a horrible way to go. :/

Related to the greater topic [an article](https://msmagazine.com/2025/04/17/usa-women-death-femicide-murder-kill-gender-based-violence/) I saw recently is that I’ve always seen femicide mentioned in context with non Western countries, but actually in the US femicide accounts for 70% of all femicides in high income countries.
