Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are putting their goodwill on display. Nine months after the former couple settled their divorce, they’re all smiles as they reunite at the New York City premiere of Kiss of the Spiderwoman. In photos of the October 6th event, Jennifer dons a green offtheshoulder floral dress with a spiderlike structure. For his part, Ben keeps it simple, sporting a navy suit over a tieless white button-down. The pair, who got together back in 2021 before tying the knot the following year, pose with each other on the red carpet with Ben wrapping his arm around Jennifer’s waist and placing his hand on her hip while she keeps an arm on his back. Plus, in footage obtained by E! News, the Maiden Manhattan star and Batman alum exchange smiles while chatting closely on the red carpet. Inside the theater, Ben, who was an executive producer on the film, praises Jennifer for her performance in the movie, saying in footage obtained by People magazine, “This movie is exquisite. Jennifer, you’re incredible.” Earlier in the day, Jennifer also gave Ben his flowers for his work on the film, telling today, “If it wasn’t for Ben, the movie wouldn’t have gotten made, and I will always give him that credit.” Acknowledging that she filed for divorce amid filming the Broadway adaptation, Jennifer adds, “Things happen. This is just unfortunate. It is so clear that she is madly in love with him and if she could just chosen him over celebrity life, they probably would’ve made it.
