What’s with the “they made me confess”? It gives “I confessed my feelings 🥺”
Also she’s talking about how people attached to your professional life shouldn’t be telling you how to live your life… but she’s the one mixing business with pleasure. Ever heard of the saying “don’t shit where you eat?”

So, she wasn’t just dating one band member, she was having sex with the entire band.
When jealousy gets involved, especially with teenagers, that’s a genuine risk to the band’s stability.
Fleetwood Mac is a good example, even though the dynamic was a bit different and they more or less pulled it off.
I’m all for women’s rights and such, but let’s not pretend that risky behavior isn’t risky.
And, saying it’s “impossible not to,” I’ve been an attractive, horny teenager. I didn’t sleep with many people.
The slut shaming she described was not the way to handle it. I’m sure it made things harder, but the band needed an intervention and a reality check.
Edit: When did “dating” become synonymous with casual sex? This isn’t the first time I’ve seen it. That’s not dating.

No slut shaming here because it’s your body so do whatever the hell you want to do with it with consenting adults…BUT it is an objectively terrible idea to sleep with multiple co-workers who all have to work in stressful, close conditions with you.

Sleeping with a coworker…..no.. multiple coworkers….is….a choice.
And it is not one I would ever make.
This wasn’t smart, sister, and it isn’t slut shaming to say so…
There’s a reason why many jobs have clauses in policies saying..

As someone who works with someone who uses their workplace as a sexual hunting ground, it creates a toxic and uncomfortable environment. Especially when it’s multiple people. You do you, fuck who you want but it would be just stupid to pretend as if this is not going to have a negative effect on your workplace.

Being teenagers, sleeping with multiple people in the band, being in a high stress entertainment environment – yeah totally not a horrible equation at all!

Idc who or how many people she’s been with, but shacking up with essentially multiple co workers is such an awful idea lmao.

I loved Hey Monday in high school. I saw them on tour multiple times and I thought she was the coolest. It’s crazy seeing her now because she is only 3 years older than me, but back then in 2009-2010, I would have believed she was like 10 years older than me because of how cool I thought she was haha.

Dare I say that being messy as a teenager is very much normal and everyone here acting like she, at 16, should have had the awareness of a corporate HR manager in her 40s is really weird? And that even if she did sleep with the “entire band” (she didn’t), it may have been a bad idea but not some moral failing on her part?
