You were taking on the role of Edgar’s mother and how did you prepare to take on this story? I mostly talked over things with Charlie. The two of us wanted to find another side of the relationship so it wouldn’t be just a lopsided one. We had a lot of uh conversations uh before we started shooting and that’s where we tried to come together. Charlie has said that he wanted to do this story justice and I feel like you feel the same. So what do you hope people take away from this cuz we don’t want anybody romanticizing Edgane. It’s not. No. Exactly. But I love what Ryan has done with the over theme, the overstory, how Ed specifically came to be and then how uh it’s perpetuated now in this day and age. I like that he has has that overlay to
