Is it unique to gay men? No. I actually have no idea about Gian Marco’s sexual orientation – whatever it is, any men openly feeling so liberated and friendly/non-violent is worthy of applause.
Toxic masculinity needs to go. Gentle, protective masculinity needs to reign. More role models like this, please.

We gotta stop with these stereotypes that gay men must all act a certain way and straight men must all act a certain way. Even some of the most progressive people I know can’t seem to think beyond those stereotypes and lose their mind at the concept of a straight man who isn’t stereotypically masculine.
