With each passing season, one is known to experience plenty of ups and downs. Bridgetgerton’s new season is the talk of the ton. Netflix confirmed that the fourth season will be hitting the streaming service in two parts in 2026, with the first half premiering January 29th and the second half arriving February 26th. In addition to the exciting premiere news, fans were treated to a sneak peek at the upcoming season, focusing on Bohemian second son Benedict Bridgetgerton and the captivating lady and silver Sophie that he meets at his mother’s masquerade ball. Showrunner Jess Brown shared that she’s excited for viewers to see a new side of Benedict this season, which is based on Julia Quinn’s third Bridgetgerton book, An Offer from a Gentleman, telling Entertainment Weekly in May, quote, Benedict is a character who we all have been rooting for. We’re deeply invested in his story and it’s been really exciting trying to shake him out of his normal routine. And the only way we were able to do that was with a character as dynamic as Sophie.
