Why LeAnn Rimes Is in “Awe” of 14-Year Marriage With Eddie Cibrian | E! News

Leanne Rhymes is reflecting on her long lasting love story. With 14 years of marriage to Eddie Cyriion under her belt, the singer credits life’s ups and downs for making their relationship stronger. She tells US Weekly in an interview published October 7th, “If I look back at our relationship, I’m really in awe of the things that we’ve endured and how we’ve grown together. The place we’re in now is just so comfortable and calm and quiet. We really find our quiet together. That’s really important.” Although Leanne and Eddie’s romance did begin on a dramatic note, they began having an affair in 2009 while she was still married to Dean Charma and Eddie was still married to Brandy Glennville. But their current lifestyle couldn’t be more tranquil. She tells the outlet, “We’re very normal. That normaly is what allowed us to have this relationship in this crazy business.” The 911 Nashville star, who is stepmom to Eddie’s adult kids, Mason and Jake with Brandy, added that her marriage is better than it’s ever been, revealing the key to her and her husband’s longevity, which she declares is curiosity, adding, “I’m changing and he’s changing. If you’re present, you do learn new things about each other. It’s really about choosing to connect and making an effort.” And part of that evolution included Eddie and Brandy making amends after the yearslong public feud that followed their divorce. Brandy explained on the Hollywood Raw podcast in 2021. I think we both grew up a lot because obviously it was a decade of fighting. I think our kids had a lot to do with it because the kids love when we’re all together. But while the exes have turned a new leaf, some parts of their dynamic stayed the same.
