Kristen Stewart’s open statements over the years regarding her sexuality and coming out as queer in the midst of presenting Saturday Night Live for the first time. Kristen Stewart famously came out as gay. In reference to former President Donald Trump’s disapproval of her cheating on Robert Patson, Stuart said in her February 2017 monologue, “I’m a little nervous to be hosting because I know the president’s probably watching and um I don’t think he likes me that much. It’s okay that the president doesn’t think highly of me because Donald, if you didn’t like me back then, you probably won’t like me now. I’m very homosexual, man. Throughout her early years in the limelight, Stuart had dated Twilight love interest patinson and speak co-star Michael Angarano, but she had never come out as gay. A month later, she said to e news, “To be honest, I just thought it was funny.” Not to minimize the point, but I believe that being so direct is crucial, but I have never done that because I wanted things to be truly real for me and there is a certain amount of ambiguity in it. She went on, I’m so proud that so many people have said, “Thank you.” And I’ve responded, “No, thank you. It’s a complete cycle and somewhat reciprocal.” Stuart has dated people including Dylan Meyer, Stella Maxwell, Soo, Alicia Cargyle, and St. Vincent after coming out after dating for 6 years. Stuart and Meyer allegedly got married in April 2025.
