The 54year-old royal and husband Durk Verrett are addressing claims that they’re in a lavender marriage, a term used to describe a heterosexual union meant to conceal the queer identity of one or both individuals with the pair taking to Instagram October 6th to post a cheeky video setting the record straight. What’s a lavender marriage? [Music] Dura captions the post, “Thought it was lavender. Plot twist, it’s just love and legacy.” The couple who tied the knot in August 2024 are featured in Netflix’s recent documentary Rebel Royals: An Unlikely Love Story. However, their marriage quickly came under fire by viewers claiming their relationship wasn’t real. Something which Durk and Martha vehemently deny in the dark. She fell in love with me first. I saw him and I was like, I know you already. I was a little apprehensive because I thought maybe I’m gonna end up with a man. I followed this weird story when the doc came out…she had to give up a lot of her royal privileges,etc for going through with this bizarre, embarrassing marriage. He scammed her and she still defends her choice of wacko lifestyle. I am shocked that this is being covered on American news.
