RHOSLC recap: Virtual Reali-Tea talks Lisa Barlow and Angie Katsanevas drama reaching new heights

This is my company card, It’s a black card. That’s not a flex, honey. With my name on it. Here’s another one. And that’s my third one. Virtual reality TV. Hi, I’m Danny Murphy. I’m Evan Real. And I don’t have any credit cards with me to throw down, but I I guess I could just call in Angie K for that. Yeah, she was tossing those cards, baby. Woo. And for good reason. For good reason. for for for the plot, for drama, and for justice. Yes, exactly. So, it was a Lisa versus Angie K showdown, which I mean, the girls always deliver here on Salt Lake City. And I I I don’t love to see the girls fighting, but I guess I kind of do cuz this was an epic showdown. This winery visit, I didn’t even know like my head just kept turning because there there was a lot going on. It was a lot of Angie versus Lisa. It was a lot of tarot card revelations. Yeah, Angie, shut your mouth. Here, stay out here. Oh, whoops. They’re getting a reading. You don’t just come talk to me. No, I’m just sick of this. A lot going on. I don’t know. I feel like Angie and Lisa almost lost the plot of their fight because I don’t know what is Was it because of um Lisa’s son’s business? Was it because of the Soupman? Was it because they just don’t like each other? You don’t shop at Nordstrom. Your boyfriend does. What about Soupman, What about Superman, What is suit man? I think mainly just that they don’t like each other. So they they thought of everything to fight you last episode. You know I love you. Well that’s well I mean maybe there is a point there because I feel like you fight hard with the people you love most and people don’t get this upset by people they don’t care about. I think there is a genuine care and love somewhere deep down. You have an interesting way of showing it. It also is kind of crazy that they had were having this dramatic fight while people were going one by one to like get emotionally wrecked by the tower. Spiritual hewin coming back sobbing and they’re like, “Oh, I’m sorry. Sorry.” Like, I know. And then they didn’t even I I feel like Meredith was trying to hold space for Bronwin’s tears and telling everyone to shut up, but they never really got to unpack that with Bronwin. She got a hug from Britney. She Right. So, there is that. But their relationship is so funny to me. the way that Brunwin actually hates and loves her so much at the same time. I’m kind of obsessed with it. She got the hug from Britney, but they didn’t really get to unpack much of what was discussed with the tarot card reader. It was revealed by the tarot card reader that her mom is probably sicker than she actually is. And then the dad is battling dementia at the same time and in a living like a a memory care facility. And I think she was hoping to talk about it with someone, but there was really no chance for her. She did say out loud at one point, “My parents are not doing great.” And then there were no follow-up questions or at least none that we saw on the episode. I mean, maybe it was just edited out. And she kept on telling them, “Stop not going backwards.” Like she was like wanting them not to like having a battle of who can go lower, who can rip each other apart more because she’s kind of just like life is fleeting. Yeah. And and she also pointed out to both Angie K and Lisa that they both have beautiful hair and it doesn’t matter about the carous and they both have messed up with each other. Yes. Which is hard for I think either of them to accept. What do you think about Angie’s um boxo props? What is Oh my gosh. Are we scrapbooking? Oh boy. I brought back the things she gave me. This is a race to the bottom. Look, I know some people think that Props on Housewives is a little bit cheesy, overdone. I I like it. Like, I was interested and intrigued to see what was inside the box. And inside the box, we had a collection of various goodies gifted to Angie K and her family from Lisa over the years. And I guess they do go way back. And there was a friendship there because at one point Lisa bought Angie Kay’s daughter Electra a toy horse that ended up getting injured as like the tarot card reader predicted. He knew he knew he was legit. And then there was a vacuum sealed bottle of Vita Tequila never opened. There were other things in there that we didn’t really get to see, but it looked like um a selection of books, like coffee table books maybe. But yeah, she was like, “If you’re going to ask for your uh Fresh Wolf hair care products back, I’m gonna give you everything back.” And I do like this is when Lisa was really opening up cuz she opened up on virtual reality about her threads. Oh, right. Yes. Facelift. Just 12 threads. 12 threads. Just a dozen. And also the episode where she gets told about the tower reader about her and John. Yes. And so what so she gets told about her and John when she honestly she was very open and receptive to she and I the immediate like sort of swivel of fighting so hard with Angie K to sitting down with a tarot card reader him immediately jumping into that and her being like yeah you’re right actually who’s the water sign in Pisces Scorpio Cancer Scorpio how would you know my husband why do you feel like you’re just rebuilding trust I don’t Yes, she exactly. She has no off switch. And to think that this w the conduit for this revelation about her marriage was because Whitney planned a day for the women. Like this happened because of Whitney. And I don’t know if in the moment Lisa clocked that, but we know Lisa does not love Whitney whatsoever really. I mean, well, they’ve had moments of love, but for on the whole, not a big fan of Whitney. And to know that this was because of Whitney is just a little funny to me. I don’t know if if Lisa has a feeling about that. I didn’t I mean, we didn’t know when we talked to her about that. I didn’t know it was because of Whitney on the day that she planned for the women at the Winery, but and then also when Whitney was being told, “You have a toxic person that I don’t know as your friend that you need to clear energy from.” And then Lisa walks through the thing to go, “Bye.” The It was a lot going on. Yeah, it was a lot. Now, Mary Cosby, Mary Cosby, a lot of the ladies are trying to get Angie and Lisa to mend. Mary really was trying, which I thought was commendable because Mary is not historically the biggest Lisa Barlo fan. And then we know that she became very close with Angie last season after they started off on a rocky they had a rocky start to their friendship, but then they became inseparable, super tight, which the fans ate up. Now, she they were not feeling each other or Mary was not feeling Angie because Mary tried to mend the fences, but Angie said something that really triggered Mary. Angie was like, “Oh, you all forgave Lisa. Look, you forgave her, too. You’re about to hurt people. You’ve gone back. Angie, that’s what you just say to me. Everybody did. You’ve all gone back and I’ve gone back. Everybody’s gone. I’m done with you.” So she can say and like was like Mary you know she said awful things about you and you just forgave her. And then Mary was like I am out. I am not a follower. She didn’t want to hear that. I didn’t forget. And also I’m like it’s not like Mary’s like buddying up with Lisa Barlo. I think she’s kind of just like I’m in a place of moving forward with people. Right. Yeah. Anyways and then Mary got that walk up and we see for the teaser for next week’s episode and Mary have a sit down that I don’t think goes well cuz I think Mary and I don’t know her astrological sign but maybe I don’t know. She’s giving me Taurus energy. I feel like once Mary gets that grudge going, oh baby, the the grudge is there to stay and she’s never going to forget how someone made them feel. And and for whatever reason, Angie Kay, I think made Mary feel very disrespected in that moment. I don’t think that was Angie Kay’s intention. I think Angie was just trying to like level with her and be like, “Yo, like you guys have all forgiven Lisa. What the hell?” Uh, what sign is she? She’s actually a Libra and her birthday’s on Friday. Huh. Interesting. Okay. Happy happy early birthday, Mary. So, she so I get I understand this as a Libra. She wants to be very balanced. She is seeking justice and she wants everyone to be good and balanced, straight. Angie Angie case is a Scorpio. So, oh, so she’s she’s got that stinger and Lisa is a Sagittarius. So, we have air, water, and fire all trying to work. See, they need they need an earth sign like you, Danny. Oh, let me get there. To get in the mix. I feel like you could you could you could broke her piece. those ladies I could do. I literally in one lunch. And who do you think would be your best brokering piece teammate in the group? Like who who’s going to be on your side to help mend these fences? You know who I honestly think could? Brunwin. Brunwin. Yes. Cuz Bronwin’s very good. Cuz I loved last week’s episode when Bronnin was like uh when she apologized to Lisa was like, “Look, I said things accidentally to hurt you.” And to be honest, I said things intentionally to hurt you. Right. So I think she could really help everybody be like, “Write down what you did. Write down what they did to you. Everybody own up to it and let’s leave this lunch. That’s what I like about Brun. She’s very pragmatic and she’s not afraid to take accountability and taking accountability seems to be a challenge for many people within the Salt Lake City group which you know it makes great reality stars. It makes for very funny funny memorable TV moments. um the lack of accountability because the sparring that it incurs. However, it is very refreshing and it’s nice to see Brunwin be able to do that in a group of ladies who are don’t find that to be super easy. It gives a lot of levels. It gives a lot of levels of entertainment. Yeah. So, I mean, we will see what happens next week. I do hate Angie and Mary not clicking. I really don’t like that. I honestly because I loved them as friends so much and I just now I was I was thinking to myself, okay, wait, so who are Angie’s friends in the group? Kind of Whitney. Kind of Whitney, right? Is she cool with Britney? Are Angie and Britney okay? I’m like I’m getting confused like who’s fighting with who? High body count. I don’t know if that still lingers. Oh, right. Okay. So, yeah. I feel like they kind Her and Bronin are are her and Bronin. Angie and Bronin are okay. I think Okay. If Bron get that big text that she’s Okay. Heather and Angie are sort of okay. Meredith and Angie are never gonna be okay. Never never. And I do love and that’s why it’s so funny that Angie sat down with Meredith to like this is what Lisa was trying to do. Okay. So, what did you think of Meredith trying to get the real tea on what Lisa did or did not say why is why I want her to always have her snowflake. It kind of felt like there was a part of Meredith that did believe Angie. I guess given her history. And I do like her like I’m going to say it in front of everybody to see if anybody else heard that’s what I think she did in front of everybody would be like did Lisa talk about this to anybody else too. I need to know if you were trying to spread negative rumors about my family. No. Do you think Lisa got out of it? Like do you think that this is going to come up again? Do you think this I mean Oh, I think she got out of it because I feel like even Meredith probably forgot because of all the fighting. Yeah. And I think Meredith really is in a place of I will allow nothing to upend this friendship again, which I love. Yeah. Which I appreciate about her. And I also think that, you know, they’ve already endured the worst together as friends. So it’s like, oh, you talk and what what am I going to do? Did I Did I f the other half of New York? Right. Did I make it to Staten Island? Right. Did she make it to Staten Island? That seems letting the river run on the ferry. Yeah, there’s probably some handsome men in Staten Island. Oh, honey, the firefighters. The firefighters. Wait, why do I think of firefighters when I think of Sex in the City. Oh, I thought I was like, “Yeah, there’s going to be hot firefighters in Staten Island.” That was a Sex in the City episode. Mhm. Where they judge the hot firefighters where she met the politician. Oh, give her a gold. I need to do a rewatch. It’s that time of year. Yeah. Wait, if you could Okay, really quickly before we before we let this go, if you could assign who’s the who’s the most carycoded among the the Salt Lake City girls, who’s the Carrie? Who’s the Miranda? Who’s the Charlotte? And who’s Oh god. Oh my god. I want you to assign them right now. You know what? I would say Heather’s the Carrie. Yeah. The writer. The writer. Yeah. And kind of is like the like if anyone would be doing voiceovers for it, it would be her 10%. Um, Miranda. Well, now with the red hair. Whitney. Whitney. Yeah. Miranda. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Um, who’s Samantha? Who’s like the Who’s the most like sensual, sexy Samantha kind of gal? There is something Samantha coded about Meredith. Yeah. You know what I mean? Like half of New York. Well, not just that. I think that she loves her bubble bath. She Right. She’s got some Samantha swag to her for sure. Oh, and Charlotte. Who’s this? I think maybe could be a little bit like maybe Mary and or Bronwin. Oh, I was going to say Angie. Oh, Angie. Yeah. And I feel like and I think Bronn would take this as a compliment. She’s Stanford. Oh, yeah. She’s the gay friend just to Yes. No, you’re totally right. Bronn is totally martini ready. Just like they said what? Yeah. Right. Okay. Wait. So, who is who? Angie is Charlotte. Okay.
