    1. Maybe this is a biased view, but I feel like she’s making all of her money of her diehard fans, but alienated everyone else and not gaining any new fans.

    2. Another album that will have zero impact and no songs with replay value from “the music industry”

Almost as if artificially inflating numbers isn’t a sustainable business model. Who’d have thunk?

    4. Time to release another version. And it goes, a little something like this…..

      “Wait! Don’t be fooled.
She’s just a regular Malibu Stacy with a stupid, cheap hat. She still embodies all the awful stereotypes she did before.”

“But she’s got a new hat!!!!!!!!!!”

Believe it or not, that 4.3 million sales is only about 1 million separate buyers since there’s so many variants.

I turned on the radio in my car for the first time in a long time (toddler has playlist) and heard “did you girl boss too close to the sun” or something like that and rolled my eyes so so hard. I just knew it was her. The song was so cringey. Maybe I would have loved it when I was in middle school, but that I am not.

You guys just don’t understand it. The 2nd week numbers only dipped because she has to save variants #35-50 for the next time another female artist drops an album in the coming months. Looking forward to seeing the exclusive voice note/sneeze/white noise combo package that’s waiting in the wings for Olivia Rodrigo’s release!

    8. I always wonder if she’s actually as popular as the media is saying she is if she can’t organically break records without 34 variants

I heard a song on the Radio it was mostly her not singing but talking in that “I’m so done with you” girl voice. That’s not music.

    10. This is when artists start complaining about piracy and how bad people are. It has nothing to do with their sub par effort that’s been put into creating an album.

yeah ngl I never get why they try and get super high numbers first week bc obviously the drop off the following week will be **bad**.

Well yeah, someone posted their haul and they had like 80 of the same thing. She’s like a funkopop star. Or something similar – you know, made for fans.

    13. She’s losing her grip and we love to see it. Gone are the days (even compared to her old self) where she can just…..drop an album…..and go by pure sales. She has to resort to gimmicks and “versions” to maintain the illusion of success and dominance.

Can you imagine Whitney Houston dropping “The Bodyguard: The Pervasive Chanteuse Edition?”
