Selena Gomez Reveals Why She Was “Sobbing” After Marrying Benny Blanco | E! News

Selena Gomez is opening up about her marriage to Betty Blanco. Following her wedding to the music producer last month, the actress shares her surprising reaction to marrying Benny and how her fears sometime get the best of her. Sharing at the Fortune Most Powerful Women Conference October 15th, “I got married and then I was sobbing cuz I was like, I’m going to die the next day.” The Rare Beauty founder further explains that when something great happens in her life, she expects quote something bad to happen as well, adding, “So instead of being present and saying, okay, wow, we’ve done a great thing,” which I do, but I’m always thinking this could all go away tomorrow. So, how can I make sure that doesn’t happen? And I can get just wrapped up in that as opposed to enjoying things. And I would say that’s my biggest conflict sometimes when wonderful things happen. Selena and Betty tied the knot surrounded by their loved ones on September 27th. And days later, the singer referenced their quote joyful moment in a message to her fans, saying, “As I step into one of the most special seasons of my life, I can’t help but think of you. My incredible friends who have been with me through every twist, turn, and chapter, from my first days on screen to the songs we’ve sung together, and now to this new beginning.
